Now battingAI consulting for small businessesPut AI to work where it actually pays.

I'm Ryan, and I help small businesses use AI to cut the admin work that eats the week, see their numbers in one live dashboard, and build tools that fit how they already work. You describe the headache. I figure out the fix and build it. No jargon, no six-month rollout, no robots taking anyone's job.

  • Fixed-fee projects
  • You work directly with me
  • Zero buzzwords*

*Okay, I said "AI" a few times. Occupational hazard.

Where AI pays offHours back / week
Illustrative estimates for a 15-person business, not client results. Your mileage will vary. The intro call is where we find out how much.
Equipment

Works with what you already pay for: ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, QuickBooks, Shopify and that one Excel file everyone's afraid to touch.

Warm-upSound familiar?

Too busy running the business to see how it's doing.

Most owners who call me aren't asking for "AI." They're asking why Tuesday disappeared into email, why the monthly numbers take a week to pull together, and why they still can't tell if the quarter's on track.

You don't need to know what the fix is. That's my job. Tell me what's driving you nuts and I'll figure out what to build.

Admin is eating the week

Copy, paste, retype, chase, repeat. Someone you pay well is doing data entry.

The numbers live in five places

The bank, QuickBooks, Shopify, a CRM and a spreadsheet that only one person understands. None of them agree.

You find out too late

You set goals in January and find out how you did in December.

1stThe lineup

Three ways to get AI off the whiteboard.

Start with whichever one hurts most. Plenty of businesses start with training or a single tool, then add the next one once the first is paying for itself.

Batting 1st

AI training for your team

So ChatGPT stops being the world's most expensive spell-checker.

Hands-on workshops built around your team's actual jobs, using your real emails, documents and data. Everyone leaves with workflows they'll use the next morning.

  • Half-day or full-day workshops
  • Role-specific playbooks
  • Follow-up office hours

What this can look likeA sales team builds proposal first drafts from its own past proposals and gets the afternoon back.

Batting 2nd

Custom tools and automations

For the copy-paste work nobody brags about at dinner.

Small, focused tools built from scratch for how your business already runs: forms that fill themselves, reports that build themselves, inboxes that sort themselves.

  • Workflow automations
  • Document and form generation
  • Data cleanup and matching

What this can look likeIntake paperwork that gets retyped into three systems fills itself from one form instead.

Cleanup hitter

KPI dashboards and financial visibility

Know the score before the ninth inning.

One live view of the numbers that matter: plan vs. actual, margin by product, cash and the goals you set. It pulls from the systems you already use and stays up to date on its own. No more Friday spreadsheet surgery.

  • Live KPI and FP&A dashboards
  • Goal tracking and gap analysis
  • Monthly reporting that runs itself

A real buildA medtech company now has one live dashboard pulling from several data sources and tracking every key number against its quarterly revenue target. Time to build: 10–20 hours.

2ndHow it works

Four innings. No extra innings.

Small steps, fixed prices and a team that can run it after I leave the park.

Intro call

Thirty minutes on where your time and money go. You'll leave with at least one idea, even if we never talk again. (We will. I'm charming.)

I build it with your team, not around them, so people actually use it after I'm gone.

Keep it running

Optional monthly support for hosting, fixes and small changes, so nothing quietly breaks at 4:55 on a Friday.

Box scoreOne real build

From "where do we stand?" to a live dashboard in under 20 hours.

The problem

A friend running a medtech company had his key numbers spread across several systems. Knowing whether the quarter was on track meant pulling reports by hand.

The build

One live KPI dashboard, built from scratch, that pulls from multiple data sources and stays up to date on its own.

The result

Every key number in one place, tracked against the quarterly revenue target, so the team can adjust its plans mid-quarter instead of after it.

3rdWho it's for

AI consulting for teams too small for a data team.

01

Consumer brands

Food, beverage, wine and spirits brands juggling distributors, retailers and a spreadsheet with 47 tabs.

02

Service businesses

Agencies, clinics and professional firms where proposals, scheduling and follow-up eat the week.

03

Growing operators

5 to 100 people. Past the founder-does-everything stage, not ready to sign a six-figure software contract.

You're a good fit if…

  • ✓You know AI could help but have no idea where to start
  • ✓Someone on your team spends hours a week copying data between tools
  • ✓Your numbers live in five places and you'd love to see them in one
  • ✓You set goals in January and find out how you did in December
  • ✕You want a 200-slide strategy deck. I build things. Decks put me to sleep.
7th-inning stretchAbout

Operator first. AI nerd always. Firm believer that every spreadsheet can be saved.

StrikeZone started with conversations. Friends running startups and small businesses kept telling me about their headaches: a process eating someone's week, numbers nobody trusted, software that almost fit. I'm curious by nature, so I'd ask questions until I found the real problem, then build a custom tool to fix it.

Then a friend running a medtech company brought me a problem I'd never seen: he couldn't get a live read on whether the quarter was on track. Ten to twenty hours later, he had a live KPI dashboard pulling from all his data sources. That's the job, really. You describe the headache, I figure out the fix.

Before StrikeZone, I spent about three years at a consumer brand building internal tools and leading its AI rollout. That's where I learned what actually sticks with a team and what gets quietly ignored. StrikeZone is its own thing: every tool is built from scratch for the client in front of me.

When you hire StrikeZone, you work directly with me. No sales team, no handoff to a junior. I'm based in Phoenix and work with small businesses anywhere in the US over video. If you're in the Valley, I'm happy to come by.

I take the work seriously and myself not at all. Expect straight answers, real numbers and at least one bad baseball pun per meeting.
